Here are our terms and conditions which will apply if you are placing an order with us. We’ll try to keep the legal bits as straightforward as possible so it won’t feel like watching paint dry. You might still feel the urge to get a cup of tea going but go on, we promise it will only take a few minutes to read through it.
Who are “we”
“We” are Ideas 2 Launch Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales under Number 07958786 with its registered office at 30 Percy Street, London W1T 2DB, UK. Ideas 2 Launch Ltd is the company Sophia and Hua setup when they came up with the Tg green tea idea. The registered office is the address of our accountant. The e-store is currently managed by the two co-founders from a home-office located in the London/Hertfordshire border. Steve and Amy co-ordinate packing and shipping of teas from their fulfillment center located near Watford (they also look after packing & delivery for some other great brands).
Your data is important to us
You must be over eighteen years of age to register on our site (and to buy products from it). You must ensure that the details provided by you during ordering or at any time are correct and complete. You must give us your real name, address, phone number, email address and any other details that we may require to process your order.
If you provide any information that is untrue, inaccurate, not current and incomplete (or we have reasonable grounds to suspect this is the case), we have the right to suspend or terminate your account, cease supply and refuse you future access to the Tg green tea site. We pride ourselves in being honest and transparent, and want to ensure the Tg community can enjoy engaging with us and each other on the site so please, keep it real.
We are legally required to say that goods are offered subject to availability. Like you, we’re not happy bunnies if we run out of stock to fulfil an order. If we do not have the products in stock to fulfil your order within an agreed delivery window (covered below), we will let you know right away and offer you the chance to get a refund or wait a bit longer for delivery.
If we deliver an order short of an item or two, we will refund you right away the missing items and let you know when the particular item will be back in stock. Since none of us likes turn up at a shop to the sight of empty shelves, we do keep the stock count updated next to each product displayed on site so you can gauge as well how much of an item is available for sale at that moment in time.
Product descriptions and pricing
We will take all reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions and prices on the website are correct at the time when the website was updated. If for any reason, we discover that the product description is not correct, we will fix it right away. If you spot something in the product description that you think is not quite right, do let us know.
All prices are shown in £ sterling and include VAT where applicable (no VAT on payable on our hot tea range). Please note that if you are ordering from overseas, you will be responsible for any and all taxes and duties that may be levied on goods delivered to places located outside the EU.
The prices quoted on this website apply only to products sold on our site. The same products may attract a different price on websites of other companies or in-store. If you placed an order with us and we later discover an error in the price of the products you ordered, we will let you know as soon as possible after receiving your order and offer you the chance to cancel the order if you do not want to pay for the products at the correct price.
When an order is confirmed
We don’t think you need reminding that by ticking the “I’ve read and accept the terms and conditions” and clicking the “Place Order”, you agree to these terms and conditions. By completing and submitting the electronic order form you are making an offer to purchase goods which, if accepted by us, will result in a binding contract.
The order acknowledgement email and order number are our confirmation of your order with us. Completion of the contract between you and us will take place on dispatch to you of the products ordered, unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order, or you have cancelled it. Our carrier will make every reasonable effort to contact you to make delivery, but, if they are unable to do so, then your order will be cancelled and payment refunded to your card.
The contract between you and Ideas 2 Launch under which you have made your purchases, it is agreed, shall be governed by, and interpreted in accordance with, English law. The English courts shall have jurisdiction to resolve any disputes between us. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Paying for your order
We take payment from your card at the time we receive your order, once we have checked your card details and stock availability. Payment must be made with a valid credit or debit card acceptable to us. The address at which the card is registered must be the same as your billing address. To ensure that your credit, debit or charge card is not being used without your consent, we will validate name, address and other personal information supplied by you during the order process against appropriate third party databases.
We want you to feel completely protected when buying through our site so we have opted to use Sage Pay as our payment service provider. Sage Pay provides a secure payment gateway (Level 1 PCI DSS), processing payments for thousands of online businesses, including ours. Sage Pay uses a range secure methods such as fraud screening, I.P address blocking and 3D secure in order to ensure you – and us – that you can shop without concern on our website.
Ownership of the goods pass to you once you have paid and we have delivered the item to you (either directly, or by leaving it in a safe place or with a neighbour). When an item has been delivered, risk of damage to, or loss of, the item passes to you. Further details regarding delivery arrangements can be found in the FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) section.
Whilst we take every care to ensure that deliveries are protected to prevent damage in transit, we cannot guarantee that parcels being sent to areas outside of the European Union and mainland UK will arrive in perfect condition.
Returns and cancellations
You have the right to cancel or return your order up to 7 working days following receipt of your goods. This includes your right to cancel your order under the distance selling regulations. If you return the order in full, you will receive a full refund including the postage cost if applicable. Return delivery charges will only be refunded in the event of faulty, damaged or incorrect items being sent to you.
The goods must be returned in a saleable condition and in its original undamaged packaging. This does not affect your statutory rights. Other than for defective products, returns outside the timeframe set out above may be accepted at the sole discretion of Ideas 2 Launch Ltd. Please contact Tg green teas by email firstname.lastname@example.org for information about returning items to us.
All refunds will be made to the debit or credit card on which the original purchase was made, within 30 days of the cancellation of the order or return of the goods. In the event that Ideas 2 Launch Ltd is unable to credit your original method of payment, we will contact you to arrange an alternate method of refund. We also reserve the right to offer a replacement item of similar or equal value.
In order for a promotional offer to be applied to your order, a valid promotion code must be entered into the promotion code box on the basket page. Ideas 2 Launch Ltd cannot be held liable for not discounting the order if a valid code has not been entered. Only one code can be used per order please otherwise it could bankrupt us – apart from promotional codes related to the Tg Green Teas Referral Programme (see the FAQs for more info).
